The project we just created is by far the best work BigHeads has done as a company…period.

In fact, if I could, I would take this presentation out for dinner…get it nice and drunk and then take it back to my place and…..never mind, you get the idea….it is fucking good!

Thanks to all the BigHeads who participated….you are by far the greatest “crowd” out there being “sourced”!!!!

The documentary about Joe Strummer is airing on Showtime…and you should DVR it asap.  Joe was a creative genius with a kind kind soul…..very inspiring.

As someone who has been obsessed with water towers since I was a little kid…..I can tell you that THIS chair, made from reclaimed timbers of a New York City water tower, will be mine!!!

So I just received this note from a student in Puerto Rico who wants to be a member of BigHeads.  Now you know why I love doing what I do so much….

BigHeads is the perfect space in which not only myself, but also what I like to believe as “my generation”, can evidently fulfill, what our complex yet creative minds can accomplish, idea wise. I am a young architecture student who also combined theater, graphic and production design to my designer curriculum. Living in a close-minded island (Puerto Rico), which reluctantly refuses to promote, approve or recognize “multi-disciplinary” studies, I’ve had to resort to the underground artist movement to practice my ambiguous profession. To name the type of work that I do, the only definition that keeps being thrown in my way is “artist”. I’ve yet been able to feel comfortable with this concept, but the truth is that it’s the only viable description. Architecture conceptual design, architecture scale model construction, industrial design, sculpture design and construction, 3D modeling, 3D renderings, production design, art director, graphic designer, stencil art, graffiti art, interior designer and actor are all examples of my recent work experience. The only essential element missing is the coupling of them as a whole. This is where I believe this network can become the creative escape that I need to not only help myself, but to improve the quality of life for others.
